Still Life Journeys
STILL LIFE JOURNEY is my new body of work that draws on the tradition of still life to explore narrative through objects.
Each piece brings together objects that hold meaning. - places, gifts, and mementos. I’ve been layering and rearranging them, seeing how the stories shift and connect.
The works are created in mixed media, combining watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, and elements of US Geological Survey maps of Maine on Arches paper.
